Lacking motivation? Lately it has been swarming us. Actually, this time it’s not about the virus, but the negativity. Of course the election will always have its say in this. Or, can we think differently? We will reach into this a little more later, for now, it’s all about that Desire. What is Desire? Everyone has a definition, mine is something that burns within. Something you can not release, it just won’t leave. Do you bring a fixed mindset to the table? Or a growth one? Let’s take a look and find out.

Desire and mindset go hand in hand. With a fixed mindset, we tend to close ourselves off the really challenging, beautiful, lessons. No, fixed mindsets aren’t bad! With a growth mindset, they tend to take a challenge, honor it. Defeat is stepping stone, propelling them into a different space. Have you ever had a math problem you could not figure out? Then you all of a sudden stopped finding interest? Fixed mindset, that can be changed. Growth mindsets, find that it will only make them better. The more they fail, the more they learn. Knowledge is only power when you put it into action, and then, it is meant to be shared. It starts with how we think, view ourselves, and our WHY!

• What do I enjoy?
• Why do I do what I do?
• Is there something holding me back?
• Write down 2 goals and say them aloud
• Also add what you are willing to do or give up for these goals
• Belief is our strongest weapon, say it with meaning

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do, but haven’t because the fear of failing? If it is still there, that is Desire! Use it. Let it move you, grip you, and take it to the next level. Once you have mastered your mindset, (always continue to work on it) you will see your skills take over. Enhance them! Read, study, write your goals. The burning desire will move you, it even got me on a morning routine without an alarm clock. Turn that Desire into a side-hustle, a small business, maybe it’s improving your job you’re in now.
